Our department hosts the 2025 European Society for Environmental History Conference is being held in Uppsala, Sweden from August 18th – 22nd, 2025. The conference is centered around the theme ‘Climate Histories’ and will be held in-person and online. Registration will remain open until August 12th, and we warmly invite you to participate in the conference in-person or via our online option. Climate Histories, Art Interventions and Food trucks
The 2025 Climate Histories conference has the ambition to bring academics, the public, and artists together to reimagine storytelling about the experiences of living in a world with changing climate. The art interventions will be open to the public as well as the conference attendees. Tuesday, August 19th and Wednesday, August 20th from 18 – 21 English Park Campus House 22 and Carolina Park.
