The MAGIC project aims to address sustainability challenges in the Swedish grocery retail sector by fostering collaboration and innovation through open innovation practices. Recognising the fragmented efforts and lack of coordination in sustainability initiatives, the project seeks to formulate a common industry definition of sustainability, develop digital infrastructure, and explore open collaboration practices to support sustainability management. The project is aligned with UN SDG 12 and targets sustainable consumption and production patterns.
