Hans Rausing-gästforskare 2016

The Office for History of Science welcomes their Hans Rausing Fellows 2016: Lawrence M. Principe, Drew Professor of the Humanities at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore (February and March 2016), and Staffan Müller-Wille, Professor of History of the Life Sciences at Exeter University & University of Lübeck (September until December, 2016).

In 2016 the Office for Histoy of Science hosts two Rausing Fellows. In February and March the Dew Professor of the Humanities at Johns Hopkins University, Lawrence M. Principe will be our guest. He is an outstanding historian of science specialising in the history of chemistry/alchemy. While in Uppsala he will also co-convene a workshop on the role of experiment in science and history of science.

From September until December we will have Professor Staffan Müller-Wille residing in Uppsala. He is a leading historian of the life sciences from Exter University and specialises amongst others on Linnean science.
