Michael Newman, BSc
Michael Newman is a private vertebrate palaeontologist and biostratigrapher who studies the anatomy and biostratigraphic distribution of Devonian fish from the Laurussian continent. He has extensively researched the classic Devonian localities of Scotland but also works on exquisite tetrapodomorph remains collected from the late Middle Devonian deposits of Spitsbergen.
Michael Newman is a geology graduate from the University of Aberdeen and a fellow of the Geological Society of London.
