Antropologin vid Uppsala universitet fyller 60 år, vilket firas med bland annat ett rundabordssamtal med institutionens forskare och keynotes av Alberto Corsín Jiménez (Spanish National Research Council) och Judith Scheele (École des hautes études en sciences sociales).

This roundtable focuses on Uppsala anthropology as an institutionalized discipline from the perspective of five invited panelists. The discussion will emphasize in particular Uppsala’s institutional and intellectual tradition in the place of Swedish social scientific research, but also in the context of the wider transformations affecting the discipline as a whole – where is Uppsala anthropology situated within these changes?
