Directions to Uppsala
Uppsala is served by the main train company, SJ, and local transportation, UL. You can easily buy tickets and find your way to the city via the mobile apps SJ and/or UL.
- From the airport you can take either the train (companies UL (Uppsala public transport) or Mälartåg) or the bus 801, which is the cheapest option.
- Bus tickets can be purchased by card payment directly on the bus or in the app UL.
- Train tickets are purchased either in the app UL or SL (Stockholm public transport) or at one of the ticket machines.
- The airport train station (Arlanda C) is located in Terminal 5 whereas the bus stop for line 801 is number 1 outside of Terminal 4, the farthest away on the right from the terminal entrance.
- Both bus and train run about every thirty minutes and stop at Uppsala C (C = main station).
Conference venue
The conference will take place at the English Park Campus, building 16, ground floor room 16-0043.
The campus is located in the green environment just behind the famous Uppsala University library Carolina Rediviva, where the Silver Bible is preserved.
You can reach the campus with bus lines 1 (stop Slottsbacken), 2 and 7 (stop Evolutionsmuseet) or just walk up Drottninggatan to the library and proceed straight until the end of the area.
The address for the main entrance to building 16 is Thunbergsvägen 3L.
Accommodation
We have booked a number of rooms at discounted price (1211 SEK/night) for our guests at Akademihotellet, which is conveniently located nearby the campus.
