Dr Grzegorz Niedźwiedzki

Grzegorz Niedźwiedzki is a vertebrate palaeontologist who studies pivotal events in the evolution of tetrapods, including the origin of tetrapods, the origin and early evolution of dinosaurs, and the Triassic chapter of therapsid evolution. He was involved in the discoveries of the earliest known tetrapod locality and the largest stem-group mammal known to date. Grzegorz has led and contributed to palaeontological excavations across Greece, including Crete, Greenland, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Tunisia, and the Ukraine.
