Engaging and Motivating Students in Reading, part 2
In this webinar we will explore possibilities and challenges when reading literature in the English classroom. We will share ideas for before – during – after reading activities, discuss books and texts suitable for students at various levels and how we can work with them in a creative and motivating way.

Lena Hjelmstam, lecturer at Fortbildningsavdelningen, the Department of Education, Uppsala University and teacher of English and French at an upper secondary school in Jönköping.
This is the second of two connected online seminars. Participants from the first seminar (12 October 2023) will have the possibility to read one of the books and try out some of the activities and we will discuss each others’ experiences and explore further developments of tasks and writing assignments.
You are welcome to participate even if you did not attend the first seminar.
The seminar will be in English. It is free of charge, but registration is obligatory.
