Kort presentation
Jag leder forskargruppen EMBLA där vi utvecklar miniatyriserade system för olika tillämpningar inom livsvetenskaperna. För att tillverka dessa system använder vi avancerade mikro- och nanofabrikationsmetoder som integreras i mikrofluidala system.
Sedan juli 2021 är jag föreståndare för avdelningen för medicinsk teknik.
I juli 2021 var jag med i UppTalk Weekly och presenterade min grupps forskning. Ni kan se inspelningen på YouTube. Här kan ni se min installationsföreläsning från november 2021.

Biografi
Jag flyttade till Uppsala universitet hösten 2014 då jag var en av 10 nya unga forskare som anställdes vid TekNat fakulteten efter en internationellt öppen utlysning. I dag är jag Professor i Mikrosystemteknik och leder forskargruppen EMBLA, som står för Enabling Microtechnologies for Biomedical and Life science Applications. Sedan juli 2021 är jag även föreståndare för den nystartade avdelningen för medicinsk teknik vid institutionen för materialvetenskap.
Jag disputerade i mikroteknik vid Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU) 2007 efter att ha avlagt min MSc examen i fysik vid Lunds universitet 2003 och min BSc (Hons.) examen i fysik vid Imperial College i London 2002. 2015 blev jag Docent vid Uppsala Universitet.
Mina huvudsakliga forskningsintressen är mikro- och nanofabrikation, utveckling av mikroflödessystem för cellbaserade tillämpningar, droppbaserad mikrofluidik och organ-on-chip system.
