Kort presentation
My main research interest lies in understanding patterns of molecular evolution, such as genomic signatures of natural selection, mutation bias and GC-biased gene conversion. In particular, I focus on variation in these patterns among species, across the genome and among different functional elements. In order to explore these questions, I use a multi-disciplinary approach relying on mathematical modeling and comparative genomics, where I primarily use Ficedula flycatchers as a model organism.
