St. Patrick’s Day

Join us as we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, and 75 years of Irish and Celtic Studies at Uppsala, in cooperation with Katedralskolan on the 18th of March at 13.15-15.00 in the Humanities Theater. Her Excellency Barbara Jones, Ambassador of Ireland to Sweden, will speak about the longstanding relationship between Ireland and Sweden. We will also hear from current and former staff and students of the Celtic section about the importance of studying languages and literature, the impact that Irish and Celtic studies have had on personal and professional development, and the doors which Irish and Celtic studies can open.
