Many teachers spend a lot of time giving feedback, while students often have difficulties interpreting and using the feedback. How could we teachers design a feedback process that results in more effective feedback so that students actually understand, use, and learn more from the feedback? Could Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) be the answer?

In this literature seminar, we will base our discussion a study that investigates whether GenAI can be an effective enabler of student feedback engagement:
