Organisations at Geo

The department conducts research and education in weather, climate, natural disasters and natural resources. It also studies how the earth has changed.

The department has a number of different centers and networks, for example:

• CEMUS, Center for Environment and Development Studies
• The Baltic University Programme
• Uppsala Water Centre, UVC

Information is collected from natural events, earthquakes, wind, Fyrisån etc.

There is a café next to the main entrance at Geocentrum. It offers coffee, tea, sandwiches, cookies and lunch boxes.
