You are invited to meet some of the most prominent researchers from Uppsala University and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences to take part of the latest possibilities and challenges within diagnostics.

You are invited to meet some of the most prominent researchers from Uppsala University and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences to take part of the latest possibilities and challenges within diagnostics. New research findings within diagnostics will be presented. Methods within molecular diagnostics and so-called Point-of-care are developing world-wide. Higher precision, faster test results and the possibility of diagnosing illnesses in very early phases are just some of the developments which may revolutionize the health-care industry. Specialists in research, economics, ethics and entrepreneurship will participate in the seminar, which will be concluded with a panel discussion. Background: Sweden and Uppsala in particular, has early on enjoyed a prominent position within the area of diagnostics. Since the 1960’s, successful research has been converted into products in use in the health-care industry world-wide. Uppsala’s cutting-edge research and prominent companies make the area one of the world-leading regions within life science. When and where?
