Participate in a study about nature-based and mindfulness-based psychological health interventions
THE STUDY compares three different health interventions. Some interventions involve simple outdoor activities in easily accessible, nearby natural settings and some involve mindfulness-based activities with or without nature contact. Participants will be asked to complete questionnaires and other assessments several times before, during and after the intervention.
THE INTERVENTIONS are suited for beginners who want to build new nature-based or mindfulness-based habits. The interventions build on existing evidence and experience, and are led by qualified instructors. They all involve group meetings once per week over 5 weeks and shorter daily assignments to complete between the meetings. We will provide needed materials.
