Reminder – Invitation to and Information about The Department of Philosophy’s Graduation Celebration 2026

Dear students,

Those of you who intend to take out an aesthetics or philosophy degree (Bachelor's or Master's level) during the 2025-2026 academic year are hereby cordially invited to the department’s celebration ceremony. Students who have finished their studies in the past but have not yet received a diploma are also welcome.

The ceremony takes place in the Humanities Theatre, June 8, starting 13:15. After the ceremony there will be a reception outside the Theatre.

Register in Kurt between April 21 and May 18. Please note that registration is binding.

Importantly, note that the diploma you will receive at this ceremony is for ceremonial purposes only, and it is not a proof of degree. It does not replace the official degree certificate that you must apply for yourself at the Graduation Office at Uppsala University. Read more about how to apply for a degree.
