Uppsala University Management

Management Council and Advisers

The Management Council is a body that supports and advises the Vice-Chancellor. The Management Council consists of the Vice-Chancellor, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, the Vice-Rectors, the University Director, and three student representatives, one of whom is a doctoral candidate.

The Vice-Chancellor has selected a number of people to work as Advisers to the Vice-Chancellor, with specific university-wide areas of responsibility together with the university management.

The Vice-Chancellor’s decisions are normally made at special meetings in the presence of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, the University Director, and student representatives.
