Entry requirements
120 credits with 60 credits science studies including an introductory course in human computer interaction.
Learning outcomes
The overall purpose of the course is to provide
insight into various methods and techniques of IT
usage in health care.
Content
Medical documentation and electronic patient records, image analysis and processing techniques, image capturing techniques, medical standards, medical terminology, modelling and simulation as a tool for diagnosis and therapy, medical knowledge representation and decision support, user interfaces in health care, telemedicine.
Instruction
Lectures, study visits and assignments.
