Learning outcomes
To pass the course the student should be able to plan, carry out and present an independent work in Mathematics within a given time frame.
Content
The student should apply his or her knowledge from previous courses in Mathematics on some practical or theoretical problems. Alternatively, the student should deepen and expand her or his previous knowledge by an independent study of some new area and by then giving a summary of the area.
Instruction
Individual supervision or supervision in groups by a supervisor.
Assessment
A report should be written and then presented and discussed at a seminar.
