Entry requirements
Minimum 30 credits (passed) in Earth Science at advanced level and a project plan approved by the department.
Learning outcomes
After passing the course, the student should be able to
- devise and solve problems in Earth Science
- find relevant information and present results
- organise and perform a project work
Content
Project-organised and problem-oriented course in Earth Science. The content can be focused on a specific problem or a broader field within the earth sciences. The student should, in co-operation with one or several supervisors, define the problem, collect and deal with the necessary information, and present the result in writing and orally.

Report in writing according to the instructions by the teacher responsible for the course (4 credits). Oral presentation of the report (1 credit).
