Learning outcomes
On completion of the course the student shall be able to:
- explain a few basic theories about social and sociotechnical change processes which are relevant for energy transition.
- explain a few basic theories about leadership, participation and communication which are relevant for energy transition.
- analyse and critically reflect on leadership and energy transition processes, based on the theories presented during the course.
- apply theories about leadership, communication and dialogue processes in the context of an energy transition.
Content
With a focus on energy transition, the course presents theories about processes for social change as well as theories about leadership, participation and communication. The course encompasses both theoretical and practical knowledge and skills, including, for example, different ways to communicate and engage others. Here, perspectives on ethics and sustainability are included. The course also aims to convey knowledge about popular science presentation techniques.

Lectures, seminars, exercises.
Assessment
Home exam (4 credits), group exercises (2 credits), written assignments (4 credits).
If there are special reasons for doing so, an examiner may make an exception from the method of assessment indicated and allow a student to be assessed by another method. An example of special reasons might be a certificate regarding special pedagogical support from the disability coordinator of the university.
