About the Department of Civil and Industrial Engineering
The Department of Civil and Industrial Engineering operates at the Ångström Laboratory in Uppsala and at Campus Gotland in Visby.
Three divisons, two campuses
Our department has very exciting research in civil and industrial engineering, from basic research to large-scale applied research.
We are also big in education where we teach and have programme responsibility for several Bachelor and Master of Science programmes and Bachelor's programmes. We are also responsible for several popular master programmes.
Common to both our research and our education is that it is linked to sustainable development and that we have extensive collaboration with society and industry.
The Department of Civil and Industrial Engineering consists of three sub-areas that function as divisions.
