Processing of Personal Data in AppAcc
Decription of the Service
Appacc is a system for managing user access and authorizations in different systems at Uppsala University. The system handles information about users who are active at Uppsala University. Personal data saved in the system are user-ID (AKKA-ID) and information about organizational affiliation.
The purpose of processing personal data is to enable authorization and access for the correct user in different systems. No unnecessary data is saved. No personal data is transferred to third countries (countries that are not members of the EU or EEA). Basic personal data such as user-ID and organizational affiliation may be transferred to related systems where authorizations are to be created.
Processing of Personal Data
The personal data that is processed in the service is limited to username, first name, surname and organizational affiliation

Username at UU | Identifier for you as a user of the service so that you can be allotted system access according to the rights you have been assigned. |
Given name | To display your name for you in the system. |
Surname | To display your name for you in the system. |
Organizational affiliation | To identify your organizational affiliation at the university. |

You have the right to request a summary from the register in order to control what information is registered about you. Read more about your rights and how the University handles personal data. The personal data is retained in Appacc as long as the data is considered necessary.
Appacc complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the international standard GÉANT Data Protection Code of Conduct.
