Order of Delegation at Uppsala University

This document contains the delegations that are made to officials directly from the Vice-Chancellor and describes the framework for the delegations that can be passed down the academic line from Vice-Chancellor to Vice-Rector, at the Disciplinary Domain of Humanities and Social Sciences to Deans, and on to Heads of Department. In accordance with decision UFV 2020/716, directors with their own staff have powers of delegation that should as far as possible correspond to those of the head of department. The delegation follows the line in accordance with where in the organisation the centre is placed.

In addition to delegations from the Vice-Chancellor, the duties of and delegations to decision-making bodies can be found in the Rules of Procedure for Uppsala University (UFV 2017/95) and in other regulations.
