Processing of Personal Data in Aivot-Chatbot
Decription of the Service
Aivot is a chatbot at Uppsala University that assists with registering documents on pre-existing cases in the diary system (W3D3). In addition, the service also allows for assigning new case numbers.
The entire process is handled directly in the chatbot, meaning you do not need to log in to W3D3, be authorized in W3D3 or email the registrar to log the documents. A Further description of the service can be found here (in Swedish only).
Privacy Policy and Personal Data
Data transmitted through the chatbot is available to the system provider, who in turn entered into a personal data processing agreement with Uppsala University and thereby committed to comply with the applicable legislation (i.e. the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)).
You have the right to request a register transcript in order to check what information is registered about you. Read more about your rights and how the university handles personal data.

Communication with Aivot is encrypted End-To-End (HTTPS/SSL) which means that no one except the sender and specified recipient/participant can read the content. This validates CIA 311 for the service.

Purging of Personal Data
Uppsala University only saves your personal data for as long as the purpose is justified by support or requirement by law.
