The cabinet contains material previously housed at Strängnäs museum. The upper shelves have mostly prehistorical artefacts, such as stone axes and other objects from the Stone- and bronze Ages. The lower shelf mainly contains artefacts found during excavations in Strängnäs town, such as bricks.
