For internship supervisors in social work

On this page you will find information for internship-based training supervisors in the social work programme. Here is the supervisor guide that summarises the supervisor’s role and responsibilities, and templates for supervisor grading. You will also find information about capacity-building support offered to you as a supervisor such as supervisor seminars, seminar days, and points-giving courses in supervision methodology.

The tutor guide

You will find a summary of your assignment as supervisor, as well as other things that may be useful to know in the supervisor’s guide.

Assessment documents

You will find a form for the supervisor’s assessment of how the student fulfils the course objectives during the internship course. Assessment document (word file)

Information meeting about the supervisor assignment

In May and August, all supervisors are invited to participate in information meetings about the structure and goals of the internship course, and your role and responsibilities as a supervisor.

Supervisor seminars

As a supervisor, you are invited to participate in seminars with various themes relevant to the role of supervisor; a closing seminar is given for both students and supervisors.

More information about supervisor seminars

Seminar days

Supervisors are invited to participate in seminar days on various relevant themes (once a year), which are intended to give you, as a working social work professional, replenishment both from the field and current research, as well as the opportunity to network and exchange experiences with others.

Higher seminar in social work

The higher seminar in social work is a seminar where researchers present current research. The seminars are normally held on Thursdays from 13.15 to 14.30, with followed by coffee for those who want it. If you would like to receive information about the seminar activities, you can sign up for our email list by contacting Marie Flinkfeldt. See also the program for the Higher Seminar in Social Work.
