"Sensitive to light"

In a temporary exhibition a selection of works from the art collection that are particularly sensitive to light are on display: watercolours, pastels, chalk drawings, textiles and works on paper. Both the pigment and the substrate material are damaged by light, but by using lower light intensities and exhibiting them for shorter periods, their deterioration can be slowed. This is why these selected works are shown in a temporary exhibition with dim light.
