During Linnaeus' time the meadows were harvested to provide winter feed to the farm's animals. Join us in the Cultural Reserve – learn how to use scythe and rake and how to dry hay on a hayrack.

Buy old varieties of vegetables from the kitchen garden. Go on a guided tour in the Reserve together with the peasants or the agricultural historians.

The café and the historical buildings are open 11:00–17:00.

Foto of a newly harvested meadow. The hay still lay in straight rows on the ground.

Also welcome to Linnaeus' Hammarby museum facility – the manor house is open for visits 11:–00–17:00, and guided tours are held outside during the day. 18th century clothing to try on for the children.

Don't miss the art exhibition with Gunnar Kaj's fantastic paintings in the East wing!

For this events day, you can travel to and from Hammarby with the Lennakatten steam train and veteran bus. Buy your ticket at the ticket desk at the railway station Uppsala Östra the day of departure.

Admission to the museum and park SEK 120. Free admission for children under age 18 and for employees/students at Uppsala University. Today also free admission if you are dressed in 18th century costume!
