The Institute's activities
IFF conducts and stimulates research in the field of real estate law, monitors and tries to influence the legislative work on real estate law, and organises seminars and symposia with a strong practical focus.
IFF is an independent institute with its own premises at the Faculty of Law at Uppsala University. The institute was founded in 1989 by Professor Sten Hillert and has since then been able to obtain its funding mainly through contributions from companies, authorities and organisations that in various ways have an interest in property law and consider themselves to benefit from IFF's activities.
