Fire alarm testing on campus 2 June

On Tuesday, 2 June, a new fire alarm system will be commissioned on campus in the Match Factory (A), the Malt House (B), the Barracks (C), Betty Pettersson House (D), and the Library Building (E).

In the evening, from 18:00 and for a number of hours, all new alarm devices (sirens), strobe lights, and other equipment will be tested in these buildings.

The fire alarm tests are carried out to ensure the systems are functioning correctly. During the test, the alarms will sound, but no evacuation is required.
