Wheelchair users

All student areas, teaching rooms and halls within Campus Gamla Torget are accessible and have routes through which you can enter with a wheelchair. There are lifts in all our buildings and the exam room is directly adjacent to the lift on floor 5 in the Bath House.

Impaired hearing

In these halls, there is a fixed hearing loop that is activated when you start the AV equipment.

In the premises where there is no fixed hearing loop, you can borrow a portable hearing loop from the reception. There you can get answers to your questions about how to use the hearing loop.

Impaired vision

Our premises are accessible and have tactile signage, contrast-marked steps, door sweeps, door openers and talking lifts.

Educational support

Application for targeted educational support

If you have a permanent disability, you can apply to receive targeted educational support in your studies. Before you apply, make sure you have a certificate issued by a doctor, speech therapist or equivalent.

This is how the application works

Make your application for targeted educational support in Nais, which is a national system for applying for support.
When you have made your application, you will receive an email from a coordinator asking you to book a time for a conversation. At the start of the semester, there may be a waiting period to book an appointment with the coordinator and receive notification of support.
After your conversation with the coordinator, you will receive a decision and recommended support measures in Nais. You will receive an email when it is ready. Decisions on support are made after registration.
Your application will be rejected if you have not submitted a certificate of permanent disability or if you are not registered on the course.

Check spam

When you are waiting for an email from the university, also check your spam folder as the email may end up there. If the email has ended up there, you should move it to the inbox, as many email services empty spam automatically after some time.
