Admission and registration

Admission to courses and programmes is done at universityadmissions.se.

Have you forgotten to apply in time? Our courses usually open for late applications, except for a few free standing courses. Make your late application as soon as it opens at universityadmissions.se, they are handled in the order they are made.

If you are admitted to a course and want to take it, you need to register in Ladok. There you can see the dates for the registration period.

Registration for courses within a programme is usually open until the start of the study period. Exact dates for registration can be found in Ladok.

For free standing courses the registration normally closes about two weeks before the start of the course. Exact dates for registration are found in Ladok. If you don't register in time you might loose your place to the course.

If you cannot register in Ladok it can be due to you being admitted with conditions. This means that we will check whether you are eligible for the course or not. The check is done the weeks before the start of the course. If you meet the eligibility requirements during the eligibility check, the condition will be lifted and you can register in Ladok. If you are admitted with conditions, you will see it on your pages on universityadmissions.se and in Ladok. If you have questions regarding conditional admission, contact the study administrator.

Reserves will be admitted until course start if there are places available on the course. If you are placed on the reserve list, you may be contacted by the study administration via e-mail to be offered a place.

Note! There can be a short window for replies, keep track of your e-mail!

If you are admitted and have problems with the registration before the start of the course, send us an e-mail.

If you want to cancel your application to the course please do it via universityadmissions.se (or antagning.se) or in Ladok.

Important: if you have registered on the course you must discontinue the course in Ladok, a cancelation via UniversityAdmissions is not sufficient if you are registered.

Contact the Study Administration if you previously have taken a course and need to be re-registered to complete it.

Please note that it is not always possible to be re-registered to a free standing course. If you have questions about how to finish a free standing course, please contact the Study Administration.
