Abstract: In this talk, we discuss the time-dependent nonlinear Shrödinger-type equation that arises in physics. We give the sharpest mass for the intial data to obtain global well-posedness for the solutions. Moreover, the correlation between the critical mass and the standing wave solutions are proved.
