Olaus Johannis Gutho – Sweden’s first known student
Sweden’s first known student was Olaus Johannis Gutho. He was from Gotland and studied at Uppsala University. He registered at the University in 1477 and studied theology and general philosophy.
He left behind a historical treasure in the shape of five years’ lecture notes.
