The Botanical Garden provides an ambient setting for moving meditation, Japanese culture and martial arts, classical music, and a traditional fire show. Explore the Tropical Greenhouse and hear the frogs sing. If you are lucky, the giant water lily will show you its flower. The Greenhouse is open 12:00–20:00, admission fre 50 Skr.

Programme 2023

10:00–16:00 Japanese archery – kyudo, in the baroque garden

11:00–12:00 Qigong Senior Metod, on the lawn by th pond south of Linneanum

12:00–20:00 Sounds of the rainforest, in the Tropical Greenhouse, south part of the garden

Come on in and explore under lush trees and along winding paths. If you are lucky, the giant water lily will show you its flower. Entrance fee adults SEK 60.

13:00–13:30 Improvised story telling by Scenkonstföreningen Alla åldrars scen, south part of the garden (in Swedish)

13:00–15:00 Okinawa Karate Exhibition, next to the pillars of Linneanum

Okinawa Karate provides health and effective self defense. Come meet the Masters! Arr. Tendokai Alliansen.

13:45–14:15 Dances from the 18th century, in the Linnaeus Hall, Linneanum

Performance by the dance groups Branuicula and Grevinnan Brahe. Music by Midgårds pipare. Open for 130 visitors, only.

14:30–15:300 Improvised story telling by Scenkonstföreningen Alla åldrars scen, south part of the garden (in Swedish)

15:00–16:00 laido, at the lawn by the pond outside Linneanum

15:30–16:15 Chamber music by Kungliga Akademiska kapellet, in the Linnaeus Hall, Linneanum

Free entrance but you need a ticket. Get the ticket at the entrance the Orangery Hall from 14:30. Only 130 tickets available.

17:00-17:20 Ensemblen Lydia, in the Tropical Greenhouse

17:15–18:15 Taiko Shin Kai – Japanese drums, the court yard at Linneanum
