Lecture Halls

Blåsenhus have five larger lecture halls that can accommodate anywhere from 64 to 125 people. Three of the halls are equipped with video conferencing facilities and sound systems. All lecture halls have two projectors and a screen for the presenter.

Hearing loops are available in all lecture halls.

Classrooms and Halls at Blåsenhus

Classrooms

Classical classrooms with seats for 24 - 60 people. Each classroom is equipped with a projector or screen and outgoing audio.

Hearing loops are avaiable in all classrooms.

Case Halls

The case halls have the seats directed towards the podium, creating a more intimate atmosphere. They are equipped with sound systems and projectors.

Mingling Area

Our pleasant mingle area outside the Gunnar Johansson Hall is perfect for coffee breaks and social gatherings, especially appreciated during conferences and between lectures.

The entrance hall can be used for events and fairs related to the university's activities.

All bookings should be made in accordance with Uppsala University's guidelines for access and leasing of premises (pdf).

Technicians

Our technicians are available on weekdays from 07:30 am to 04:00 pm.

To book our technicians, please specify the date, time, and room when technical support is needed, and send an email to intendentur@blasenhus.uu.se.

How to read the room number

The first two digits identify the building, the third digit represents the floor, and the last two digits indicate the room.
