About Campus Gamla Torget

Campus Gamla Torget includes around 500 employees and approx. 3,500 students and has a main focus on humanities and social science education and research.

Here you will find institutions within political science, law and peace and conflict research. Other institutions within the campus area are the Institute for Russian and Eurasian Studies (IRES), the Institute for Housing and Urban Research (IBF) and the Dag Hammarskjöld and Law Library.

Our Campus is located in the most central parts of Uppsala. Our institutions and houses stretch from Gamla Torget on through ancient streets down to Kvarteret Munken by Svandammen.
