Labor Market Mentoring for Female Immigrants
This study evaluates a NGO-led program that offers labor-market training to job-seeking immigrant women and matches them with a Swedish mentor with a similar professional profile. By providing access to new social networks as well as skills training, the program aims to improve education and employment outcomes among immigrant women, who have been found to be a particularly vulnerable group in terms of having weaker labor market attachments.
