Short presentation

Associate Professor of Political Science. My primary research areas are within the disciplines of political philosophy and higher education policy studies. I mainly teach in the fields of political theory and human rights.

Biography

I am an Associate Professor of Political Science. Before starting at Uppsala University, I worked as a Senior Lecturer and educational developer at Linköping University, Associate Professor at Mälardalen University, and I also spent a few years outside of academia as an education policy analyst at the Education Department of the City of Stockholm. I received my PhD in 2008 at Uppsala University with a dissertation on theories of justice, which specifically addressed issues of justice in international trade.

Research

My primary research areas are within the disciplines of contemporary political philosophy, and higher education policy studies. I am particularly interested in issues concerning sovereignty and self-determination, both at the international and local levels, as well as questions of global justice, climate justice, migration, and human rights. In the field of higher education studies, I have conducted research on the effects of pedagogical training courses for teachers in higher education, and how teaching qualifications are assessed in recruitment processes for academic positions.
