Short presentation
Dr. Poblete is an Associate Professor (Docent) at Uppsala University. He holds a Ph.D. and a M.Sc. degree from Uppsala University in Business and Economics. Part of his Ph.D studies were conducted at Harvard University, Kellogg School of Management and University of Michigan in the U.S.
Dr. Poblete is currently a Visiting Scholar at the University of Sydney, Australia.
Biography
Dr. Poblete holds a Ph.D. and a M.Sc. degree from Uppsala University in Business and Economics, and a B.Sc. degree from Oxford Brookes University, UK. Part of his Ph.D. studies were conducted at Harvard University, Kellogg School of Management/Northwestern University and University of Michigan in the US. He teaches at the Master Programme in Business and Economics, and at the Faculty of Science and Technology at the Master Programme in Sociotechnical Systems Engineering at Uppsala University.
Prior to joining Uppsala University, Dr. Poblete worked at the Centre for Baltic and East European Studies (CBEES) and at the Department of Innovation and Economic Organization at BI Norwegian Business School. He as also been a Research Fellow at the Department of Technology Management and Economics at Chalmers University of Technology.
Dr. Poblete is currently a Visiting Scholar at the University of Sydney, Australia.
Research
Dr. Poblete's research interests include interorganizational relationships, complex industrial networks, industrial economics and industrial management. The Swedish Defense and Security industry has been the main empirical context in his research.
