Biography

I have a broad interest in understanding how sexual and natural selection shape sex differences and what are their genetic underpinnings. My current research topics span from the role of mitochondrial and nuclear genome epistatic interactions in sex-specific environmental adaptation, economics of mating across phylogeny, and transcriptome evolution due to divergent life-history evolution, to understanding how sexual conflict can be resolved at the molecular level to allow sexual dimorphism to evolve. I am using seed beetles as the model system.
