Short presentation
In 2020, I defended my thesis on negotiations in talk. Using focus group interviews with healthcare professionals specializing in end-of-life care as data, the thesis shows how understandings of patients with migrant backgrounds are negotiated in conversations between health care professionals.
As a postdoctoral researcher in the project CIVEX, my current research is about potentially marginalized older people's exclusion from civic engagement.
