Short presentation

Yên Mai holds a Ph.D. in sociology. Her research focuses on development initiatives and social movements led by civil society in the Global South.

Yên has published in Nordic Journal of Youth Research, Emotions and Society, Trans-regional and -nation studies of Southeast Asia. She also works as a translator, writer and journalist.
