Short presentation

After more than twenty years as a teacher in upper secondary school and nearly that long as a textbook author, I took the big step over to research. Now, I teach students in the teacher program while taking doctoral education courses. In Uppsala, you can find me in the research environment STOLP, Studies of Language Practices. On a national level, I belong to the graduate school Education, Learning and Globalization.

Research

In my doctoral thesis I intend to examine discourses in Swedish as a second language as it is taught on upper secondary level, in particular discourses on writing in linguistic practices, from textbooks to student texts.
