Short presentation
My doctoral project concerns the investigation of materials for solar energy application through a variety of techniques, mainly X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (Soft and Hard: 130 eV - 15 keV). In particular, I study BaZrS3 thin films and lead halide perovskite single crystals, where the XPS technique is a powerful tool for understanding the elemental composition of surfaces and interfaces, it is sensitive to the chemical environment and accesses electronic properties.
