Short presentation
My research sits at the intersection of international relations and comparative politics, and focuses on political violence and peacebuilding, divisive elections, land rights, climate change, and forced migration, with a regional focus on sub-Saharan Africa, and East Africa in particular. Most recently, I was an assistant professor at the University of San Francisco (2018-2021) and received my PhD in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2015).
