Short presentation
I am a PhD candidate at the Centre for Gender Research, Uppsala University. Grounded in decolonial and intersectional perspectives, my work examines how power, technology, and health shape experiences of gender and reproduction across diverse contexts.

Biography
I hold an M.A. in Gender and Development from the International Institute of Social Studies, The Hague, and an MPhil in Political Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
Prior to my doctoral studies, I worked for over a decade with civil society organizations across the Asia-Pacific region, with a strong focus on sexual and reproductive health and rights advocacy and research. Methodologically, I draw on feminist and qualitative approaches to critically interrogate power relations within the fields of gender, health, and development. Alongside my doctoral research, I serve as a Non-Resident Fellow at the Council for Strategic and Defense Research, New Delhi, and as Equal Opportunities Representative at the Centre for Gender Research, Uppsala University—roles that reflect my commitment to advancing equity, inclusion, and critical scholarship across academic and policy spaces.
Research
My research project, titled "Understanding Digitally Mediated Information Seeking Practices for Self-Managed Abortions,” investigates social media campaigns launched by civil society organizations for information dissemination about safe access to self-managed abortions with pills in India.
