Research
My research aims to advance synchrotron-based techniques (XPS, XAS, RIXS) for probing the electronic structure of diverse materials, focusing on 3d transition metal systems used in battery cathodes. During Ph.D., I developed mixed metal oxide semiconductor gas sensors for environmental and breath analysis, emphasizing on the correlation between several influencing parameters (e.g. electronic structure, morphology, defect structure, surface oxidation states etc.) with gas sensing properties.
