Short presentation
My name is Sabine Gebert Persson and I am an associate professor in marketing at the Department for Business Studies where I do research within marketing and am teaching at bachelor and master level. I am also program coordinator for the master program in Business and Management. I have a strong research interest in B2B-relationships and legitimacy as well as consumer behaviour.
Research
- Sustainable visits - between the map and the tourists reality. The research project takes place within the growth program Sustainable Gotland, where major financiers are Region Gotland and Tillväxtverket, and with support from Uppsala University. We who participate in this research project are: Sabine (project leader), Karin Ågren dep. of economic history, John Östh and Marina Toger both from dep. of cultural geography, Ulrika Persson-Fischier,Klas Palm and Rickard Grassman all from the dep. of engineering sciences, division of Industrial Engineering and Management.
- Sustainable visits - Management and organizing. Within the research program called Sustainable visits, a group of researchers are studying the organizing activities of the destination Gotland and how this is affected by the cruise quay inaugurated during 2018. Researchers in this specific project are Fredrik Sjöstrand, business studies; Karin Ågren, economic history and Ulrika Persson-Fischier, anthropologist and teaches at the department of engineering sciences, division of Industrial Engineering and Management.
